Tale of a Piano

Tale of a Piano

A Poem by Atram Dace
"

I made this when I was listening to someone playing a piano

"
The keys of the piano vibrate
A finger at a time
To create sound that make you dance
But you listen instead
Closing your eyes, swaying your head
You feel your feet moving
To the rhytmic beating of tunes
The lyrics and the song
But you cannot sing it, sadly
Even though you know it
Your lips forgive you for this act
And your ears have rejoice
For the keys, the piano and
musician play as one

This was really beautiful, it made me want to play the piano myself!

When I read this poem, I want to hear the music that is being played so that I can feel the way the player does. Well done!
