Every MomentA Poem by SaruwaNot a moment passes by that I don't miss you My body misses the ghost of your fingers holding close on my skin My lips dry at the thought of the life you once brought to them My heart tries to beat but it mutters instead Your name it repeats day and night Whispers like lonely breezes that caress my hair- like you once did My soul is missing pieces you clung to - they ripped away when you ran Now my mind drifts day and night to the words you once said to me, twice repeated and three times promised. Broken, betrayed and bereft. Those words are empty bottles in which I collect my tears at night. Every moment is yours. © 2015 SaruwaFeatured Review
