Well, the protagonist seems as if she's someone suffering from low self-esteem. And, the writer has depicted that well. Sadly, the protagonist seems to think that she has "toxic traits"; and reckons it's inevitable that someone very close will "break". Overall, it sounds as if the protagonist is fighting that inner-critic of self-doubt; and doesn't think that she's deserving of an idealic special someone. Although, not in verses or a rhyme scheme; it certainly says a a great deal. I accept "read requests" too, on this site.
