Poet's Diagnosis

Experienced varied emotions.

Must use words by which to map them.

Weaponry of our hands

for all who've been lost. 

Our goal is never revenge,

we resurrect ourselves--

radiant & real

from these waves of woes. 

It lets us breathe,

what we feel to be true.

Here is our bond--

a return & a departure.

To author a new chapter

and raise this wounded world.

Hello Svetlana.

Writing poetry or stories is a cathartic endeavor to get out any creativity we feel inside ourselves bursting to get out. It's also for those who've been wounded in life in some way. That's where I believe the emotions come in.

As you say, revenge is not the goal, it's more than that. It's kind of a search for ourselves, and maybe answers.
