Big Sad

Big Sad

A Poem by In Em's Wonderland

The Big Sad--
each wave is real.
It's no big secret,
but a warning about
the darkness out there.

It was the wreck
we were looking for.
Their flowers sadden us.
Poured unused coffee grounds
onto the tile floor.

A few empty Coors
(maybe a sip left inside them).
Snacking on day-old donuts.
Draws the bathwater & cry
cause the bread has all molded.

He says I'm crazy...
I hope I am.

I really like how you write. We actually have the same style I just don't center the text so it looks different.

Those moment of depression or even regular hopelessness aren’t easy to deal with. Tiny insignificant things can set off a tidal wave of emotions that are hard to keep under control and they are a force to be reckoned with.

I like how you used something simple like moldy bread and day old doughnuts to get the idea across.
