Ocean to Sail

Ocean to Sail

A Poem by In Em's Wonderland

Surf tickles my toes
on a pristine, undisturbed beach.
White sand beneath my feet.
Uncovered a good luck nickel
imagining the emotion involved
to let it go completely.
Chase me into oblivion
only because I let you.
Hand in hand
for keeping & sharing.
Sun sparkles off the waves.
You are the ocean
I wish to sail on.

It may have not been your intent but this made me want to watch "No Country For Old Men" again.

That lucky coin, floating upon an ocean of time. (that movie is a little less optimistic about luck... bad luck is still a certain kind of lucky right?)

Anyway, I enjoyed this. You're very readable.
