Man and Boy

Love can be a roller coaster and this describes the ride that I'm on.

Man and boy

The man on the couch
Made me feel safe
And kept me close

The man on the couch
Made me forget the pain
And be comfortable in my skin

The man on the couch
Made me smile
And remember what happiness is

The man on the couch
Made me laugh
And gained my trust

The man on the couch
Made me giddy
And calm at the same time

The boy in the office
Makes me believe his words
And then doesn't follow through

The boy in the office
Makes me feel special
And then forgets about me

The boy in the office
Makes my heart skip a beat
And then walks away

The boy in the office
Makes me keep hoping
And then let's me down

The boy in the office
Is the man on the couch
And I think I love him
