BrokenA Poem by Mariana SilvaBreak a human and see what you see in the depths of his spiritOutspoken and all alone, He lies within himself, broken. Salvage the dying soul And mend it with caring words. Give him a place to call home, A place where he can heal and no longer be broken. There's nothing but a large hole Where is heart was ripped out by words.
The tears fall on to greedy hands, Looking out only to benefit From the sorrow eating him alive. Vengeful spirits which should leave him. Licking away the blood from their fangs Letting him rest for only a bit. Fool him into coming alive With the strength he can find inside of him © 2008 Mariana SilvaAuthor's Note
