You Gently Fill My LifeA Poem by Suzanne Deakinsreflections on what I felt love must beYou Gently Filled My Life You came gently into my life filling my senses with softness allowing me time to be embracing my being with tenderness You stirred my fires of being heating up the very idea that I might find love as you filled me gently with love You filled me with your laughter bringing me to the point of acceptance of the idiocy I would have thrown out You filled me with hope filling me to the brim with courage knowing I could continue You filled my senses gently with the scent of spring and the colors of new life the wanting You filled me with strength taking me to brink of a crevice of sanity we must each leap You filled me up every atom every cell you taught me to soar to be as never before Filling up my senses with the very being fusing my heart to yours You filled me up with the inevitable desire of humanity seeking to know You filled me up with the touch of your flesh on my flesh You filled me with your words giving me the timeless craving of understanding Your humanity filled my senses smelling your flesh feeling the silk of your being looking into your eyes You filled my human life keeping me from wandering seeking no more for flesh has found flesh As you fill me up I know life has found life soul has found soul and being is fulfilled.
