I Am Human

Consciousness about human state of existence

I am a human

all of those things never mentioned, I am human

an unopened package with a heartbeat

containing, body, mind, and soul

I am a human

I have transparent flesh

built with an opaque wrapper

 

I am a human

translucent feelings carrying

hidden truths within

I am a human that holds many personalities

each bearing the masks of the truth I know to be

 

I am a human

committing actions that hold within untold secrets

unsung echoes; returned from an unnamed cave in space,

found only in the furthest vertical, horizontal timelessness

conquering the world, conquering self, becoming that

becoming what is, becoming each object that is to be

becoming

 

I am a human

all life, is whispered to me in the middle of the night

I am thoughts erupting from the soul of the earth

I am that which follows that which was first

I am human

I am flesh

I am rocks formed by the hand of the divine

I am the sand

I am spirit

I am free

I am love

 

I am human
