- Sending Love Notes Overseas -A Poem by Suzanna_manthersN/A
Wishing you were here, is like trying to play with black magic
Wishing you were back here with me, is a silent way of me committing suicide Excuse me for intruding on your scenery, but I couldn't help myself from staring If I asked you all over again to give me nothing, but your time & dedication would you give me the same answer you did then With the same tone, and face expression I told myself " How lonely he must be. All alone at sea with none, but his crew." How I hated to see that ship sail off into the sunset This time was more different then the last The flag flapping in the wind as though it was telling me this may be the last time you see the Captain sailing off A sign from the Sea Threw my hat on the ground Unfastened my corset. Ripped off my garter belt. Wiped off the makeup I wore to see you off & looked myself in the mirror Tears were fighting to come out of my eyes, but I heard your voice the whole time " Stay strong Suzanna. I'll be back soon my love" Oh captain homesick. You've never been so wrong. © 2014 Suzanna_manthersAuthor's Note
