Death

A Chapter by Suyash Sisodia
"

A Boy's Journal whose Girl died in front of his eyes in an accident. This gives a vivid description of the day and the aftermath.

"

He walks alone on the lonely road, the Air is dry and windy.. The Sky is dark, his life, Darker... The Place is same, where they met, the Date is same, when they met, just the year has changed and a lot has happened. He closes his eyes, A Warm Sunny Morning, he sees himself into, with her. Hand in hand, just seeing each other, not uttering a word, So silent, they could hear their heartbeats in perfect synchronization...
He opens his eyes with a scream, not of fear, but her name. He touches his hands and could feel her presence still. His eyes fill up, but the winds dry them up, he lowers his eyes and wants to cry.
He closes his eyes again and a smile appears on his face filled with pain as he finds himself with her on yet another lovely day. He walks down the road listening to her talk, he wanted to freeze the moment and make her forever his.. Little did he knew it was the last of it, because then they saw flashes of light, screeching of tires and they knew they were hit. Hand in hand they lay on the road injured, He tried to move but he was stuck. His body was injured but he didn't cared, all he wanted to know was, was she okay?.. She turned her face towards him, covered in blood. He then knew they didn't have much time, he wanted to be with her as long as he could try.. "Don't ever cry for me", she said and passed away. He wanted to follow her there but help had arrived. He was saved but it was too late for her, she was just gone, leaving behind a body and unforgettable memories...

He sometimes still see her walking down the road, she smiles when she sees him and kisses him goodbye .. He smiles back and waves her bye.. There is so much he wants to speak to her about but she disappears in the wind, and yet again he stands alone but no tear ever roll down his cheeks..

There is a repetitive mention of how everything hurts but there are no tears shed. It's like all the pain has created a hole inside of you and now all that you feel just falls inside...hits the ground, hurts you but your eyes have had enough....they are exhausted and crying seems to be a monotonous task. You just let it pass. Let that pain dig in but not affect you on the outside.
