The Wait

The Journal Vividly describes a He She best friend separation and its outcome and aftermath, It gives an account of the waiting the Person does in hope of best friend's return.

She visits the Old Church everyday,
In hope to see her best friend with so much to say.

She returns home broken again at Night,
Just lies on the bed she crying with no hope she turns of the Light.

Neither she eats, nor she drinks,
Emotional and Physical Breakdown are on the brink.

She wishes that he returns to her soon,
Without him the world seems dull even when the sun is high at Noon.

They used to meet and chat and hug all the time,
Now she feels she is not even worth of his Dime.

They fought, they separated but she always thought he would come back,
Bringing back happiness and her soul, refilling all she lacks.

She waits, she watches but she sees nothing,
She just wants to apologize once and for that she could give up her everything.

On the Horizon she stands wanting to scream,
He returns to her daily, but only in her Dreams......
