mistrust The gap forever widened by the prybar of your lust How many yesterdays equal one tomorrow How many stitches must I sew to mend this sorrow How do I gauge the vacuum that’s filling this empty space Or tally the many tears that were streaming down my face I never used to count the miles from where you live to here But ever since that fateful day I’m thankful that they are
