Trapped by Reason

A Poem by Susie

Sometimes I wish I were an animal. Eating, playing, sleeping, multiplying, fighting, hunting. Indulging without the experience being spoiled by wondering whether they are worthy.

I had those thoughts long time ago. I read where animals have a lot in common with humans like jealousy, crying and wailing the dead, marriage in the sense of loyalty...And so forth. A lot of scientists are studying that as we speak...Bravo....................

Whether they are worthy?? That question haunts each one of us.. This are few lines which portray your dilemma that why are gifted with that conscience when no human uses it. An introspective write.. ★takecare★

You too! Thanks for reading - and thinking about the meaning. :)
I've always felt that its better to be an animal because even though they must fend for themselves, find their own food, they seem way more easygoing and comforting about life and things around them. It would also depend on what animal you'd decide to be and how many predators you would like to have after you. Another plus is that they would live outdoors, in the wild. I've always loved the feel and atmosphere of the open air.

Yes indeed Susie, I often think likewise!

A short but quite absorbing and interesting piece of poetic philosophy, kudos indeed !
