She fit the stereotype of a small town girl
You take a bough, you save your dough, you save yourself
She had plans of getting out, seeing the world
But the dream was having a ring on your finger
When he got down she could have it all she figured

If that’s what you get for doing everything right
He must be a hell of a man
If love is a once in a lifetime deal I’d
Better change my plans
Hunnie, this is a pivotal moment in time
I’m going to Canada with you

But looking back, she sees how young they were
Ten months on, a hundred lessons learnt
