Fade

Fade

A Poem by Suzanne Ashley

Siting,with desperation
To grow into someone Beautiful
The world needs  to know
More than it knows
Beauty that reaps from her eyes, not her body
Leaving everyone from not speaking hateful things
Being compelled towards her with encouragement
Craving a reason to make heads turn away from the distruction
And see something more of worth in her soul
She keeps siting, with eyes staring at the ground

Once all is said and done
It keeps flashing back and forth
Around and back
Up and down
We all wonder if we'll always be reminded of this past
If she'll always cling to her past,
Unable to live in the future
She's just so unsure
If anyone will ever be there again
Or will they keep fading away just as they come
Theres still a heart beating, not all of her is missing

How can she start the day off gracefully
Laughing and shouting
Maybe even showing over pouring love to all she talks to
Ending the day in anger and hurt
It just dosnt match up to the morning
It leaves everyone speachless
Most of all,it leaves her breathless
Hanging her with words that trip her
She forces the tears welled up in her throut down
Lifts her head up high and drinks more caffine down
Waiting the best she can
Waiting for more to fade, waiting for the right words to say

Wow, I feel like I can relate to this.
Especially the last stanza, there have been times after countless times where I have felt that way.
Wonderful write.
