My eyes burn at the rim

With tears that won't budge

For all the reasons that I cringe

Knowing all the secrets that my heart carrys

I nod and my hands start to shake

 

Attaching my heart on my sleeve

Sometimes I feel like a fake

Listening to everyone else comes so easy

Keeping true to what I believe is so messed up

I stand up tall and run away

 

What makes me weak and frightful

Backs me down until I don't want to stand

 Throwing up my hands until you see

Life is not so simple can't we see

Yet I don't think you'd understand

My unspeakable truths if I can't even accept

I catch my tears before they fall
