What Goes Around, Comes Around

What Goes Around, Comes Around

A Poem by Susan Beth Horvath

Not in any pain
I pray
no, not in pain
very much ok.
no love lost, no love found
all the same as always
what goes around, comes around
Seems an echo sound.
Howlin' hound houndin' for a sad heart beat pound.
No pain, no vain, feet on the ground.

It's sounds as though you are giving yourself a little mental pep talk.
The pain comes whether we pray or not, but we live through it. :-/

I am not sure how I feel about one. It doesn't seem to have the same feeling as some of your others. In terms of structure, grammar, etc., well executed.

My favorite piece of your... This is my favorite peace of the past months. I really cant tell you how amazing this is. It is astoundingly simple, and astoundingly profound. Love love love it. No really this is amazing.

Great poetry gives great significance to mundane matters, and that's what you've done here...what goes around, comes around / Seems an echo sound...and I have a lot of echo-y days...I definitely related to this one....well done :)
