Delight

Just a delight in plight
Morsel in remorse
Stayed far from afar love
All changed with succinct smile
And null love

Hearts stay better alone
Rather in search of best soul
As this delightful sham by a girl
Awards nothing good but 
A bunch of poems to clap around

Words aren't precise
Smiles are not meant
A promise not kept
Makes it a better play to 
win hearts by losing a heart

we win others' hearts with our words, by having our heart lose...then we have those, as you say, "bunch of poems to clap around"--
we store the memories on paper...and others read and relate ---we don't and can't capture the feelings exactly, but we try to get close.
