Love In A Demised Heart..

Love In A Demised Heart..

A Poem by Surya

My will to leave was lost,
And so did to live,
So did to live, it's
Always strange for me!

Like a corpse I was demised
With no functions and no dreams
Just those scary thoughts of unfreedom.
Like a drop I was dropped into
A bond of gleaming trance
Might be the love of your's
But I feel you as mine.

Though no smiles but words
Of course, yes! Always, this man
Shall swim in your loving eyes.

I'm not sure I follow every part of your story, but I enjoy your uninhibited writing style using phrases that are so unexpected. I had to think about this one for awhile: "Just those scary thoughts of unfreedom" . . . which to me, seems to suggest that love in a demised heart is like bondage?!?! All in all, you've spilled out a broken picture of how loving can go sometimes! *sigh!* Fondly, Margie

even if it is not reciprocated, it feels free and powerful to love---means another means more to us than we do...
really like this one, Surya.

The first stanza is so relatable. Truly framed.
