Adieu To Poet's Swords...

Adieu To Poet's Swords...

A Poem by Surya
"

swords--Emotions..

"
Elite heart with caravan of words
A soul reflecting mighty swords
Journey from dried woods
to perplexion of caravan books

Hearty words left unsaid
drops of tears left wounded
A piece of paper had fallen
in a poetic soul of a land unseen

Destiny driven grandeur of life
Poetic beauty filled a soul
Swords as words stabbed a heart
many emotions postered applauds

Clinch of thirst to rhyme a word
Made a man from mad to kill a sword
Insane voice turned to sane in words
Driven apart from asylum full of swords..

Haha...Thank you so much Farhan...:)
The feel of Dryden in your words.
Hearty words left unsaid
drops of tears left wounded
"A piece of paper had fallen
in a poetic soul of a land unseen
Hearty words left unsaid drops of tears left wounded A piece of paper had fallen in a poetic soul of a land unseen"
Dryden questioned often. Was his writing worthwhile. It was. I enjoyed the complete poem and thank you for sharing the amazing poetry my friend.

' Elite heart with caravan of words ' has me thinking of ancient caravans carrying only the finest silks and spices...

Words can both hurt and love - be friend, be enemy. Seems you've found the way to lay them as they should be laid. Fine writing from your heart and mind, Surya.
