Miss you Buddy...

Miss you Buddy...

A Poem by Surya
"

Memories...

"
We born in different states
Grew up somewhere indistinct states
These books bought us together
and that cafe with filter strips made us together..

Those beautiful nights in shady lamps
those bricks with stars and
hands with rum, a fire in between
with a smoke in air..Oh!! how beautiful, those nights..

We laid together, we fought together,
Those flirty days and nights, where
we backed those girls, indeed their fingers on us
ohh!! how beautiful they are....in memories now..

A place always for you,
A glass and a puff everytime for you,
Many a time I will remind you,
A part of this man occupied by you...

A bye cannot take us away,
I wish this Bye now
Will make our bond strong...
A wish of luck from all my heart..
Gonna miss you buddy....

Words in hindi..:

Kise pata tha ki hum mile ek din
kise pata tha ki hum toote is din...

Yaad aate mujhe woh din hooghli pe
aur woh raat talab pe....

Woh raat mein humaari yaadein
uss kursi pe humari hasi...

Woh diwaaron ke beech mein apna talaash zindagi ka
khair mujhe nahi pata tha ki hum roote is din...

dekta hu kitna door jaayega mujhe chodke
kabi aanaa hi padega woh yaadon se

intezaar hai us din ka jab hum chatth pe baite
aur woh kahaani phir se yaad aaye..jaha
tu suit pehnke ho aur mera kitaab haath mein...

kehna toh padega jaffi dalke ki
dost chal raha hai mera kuch paane...

aur mein intezaar kare apni wapasi ka wohi chatth pe...

This is a very relatable message. I like the way you include details from time spent together to show us how you'll miss this person. Even tho it's written for a friend, it could also apply to many other kinds of "good-byes" in life, whether a pet or a family member, etc. I like the way you are subtle with your details ("a glass & a puff") which gives readers room to interpret in different ways. I also admire that you can write in more than one language! Very impressive! (((HUGS)))

You are welcome my dear friend.
I liked the English version better than the Hindi one. I feel you can tinker up a bit with the Hindi phrases here.. Nevertheless, a good theme, well penned :)
