Frumpy Phantom..

It is a dark night 

Under the tree of APRICOT,

I see a MOOSE at a distance

Turning into a FRUMPY PHANTOM,

Watching it, my body begin to SPASM,

I even started Tasting BITTERNESS in 

APRICOT where my vision MANGLED it's sweetness.

My alarm now singing saying wakeup

it's now SEVEN in the morning.

Smiling now after CURDLING

My CLAIRVOYANT vision with my terror dream.

This is one of your very best "10-word" poems that I've read so far! This is quite playful & brilliant, especially using all these unusual words in a shorter poem. Many images were spawned in my mind as I read & then when I got to the part where it's only a dream, I realized these image-laden flashes in my mind were similar to the sensations of dreaming. Very mind-blowing. Where do you get all these 10-word ideas? Contests on this website? (I never look at the contests).

Hello Surya. Thank you for taking the 10 Words I Give contest challenge. It would be scary to see a moose transform into a 'frumpy phantom'. The weirdest dreams come in the a.m. before the alarm chimes. That's been my experience. Good job!
