Empty Words

Empty Words

A Poem by Loewe

Look into me like I looked into you and just maybe you'll learn that what I'm telling you is true. I could stand here and whip my tongue about spouting cliche ideals of love and how your the only one for me but why waste your time?

I'm just going to hold my hand open until you decide to take it. Words may have power but not when the actions of others have made you deaf to them. My words, like theirs, are sweet. That is where the similarities end though. Keep your heart, eyes and mind open and I'll prove my point.

The actions of those before us, pave the way the heartache never for us or because of us. You could form this into poetic stanzas. Nice job!
