Ivory Bride

Ivory Bride

A Poem by Loewe

My dear Ivory Bride do sleep well tonight

With my hand across your heart and my soul burrowed in your dreams

My dear Ivory Bride cry if you must but don't cry for long

Lest my mind fracture at the absence of your smiling eyes

My dear Ivory Bride let me bring you peace tonight as I devour, like the wolves in your nightmares long past, your fears and leave them ashamed that they ever harmed my sweet Ivory Bride

Do this all and I'll do all this and more

For my love is for ever and seven score days

My dear Ivory bride do sleep well tonight,With my hand across your heart and my soul burrowed in your dreams.
