In Your Hand

In Your Hand

A Poem by Loewe

I'm here now but there tomorrow and back again like a drug induced dream on a wind-tunnel afternoon

Take my hand and know that even though so much air separates us now that you'll always hold the stitches of my patchwork heart

Soon I'll be back, soon enough to catch the tear on your cheek and string it like a star across your fingers. Just hold my hand and know you hold much more
