Pain

Hurting on the inside

Smiling on the out

Hard to trust others

When I carry so much doubt

Weeping in the night

Dying every day

What are the right words

To take the fears away

The pain will never leave me

It never seems to fade

So I turn to what I know

And cut deep with the blade

Forcing back my demons

As all the angels frown

Tears falling from my eyes

In which I'll surely drown
