6.A Chapter by Raylene "Agatha!" I ran up the stairwell as fast as I could. I nearly knocked down one of the other maids as I was trying to also carry Prince Rowan. "Agatha!" I rushed into the Queens bedroom breathing had and holding the Prince tight to my chest. "Yes my Queen?" The Queen was standing in her room still in her nightgown. "My Queen why are you not dressed? You have to greet the clan of dragons coming at dusk." The Queen looked at me "Agatha let me ask you something?" I looked at her rocking Prince Rowan at the same time as I had been trying to put him down to a nap. "Would you do anything for me?" I was shocked "Of course, my Lady.' The Queen smiled "Nina!" A young girl whos feet were in chains and her face had been marked by a whip. The girl clearly was in pain as I could se blood trying to seep through the green cotton dress. "Yes..My Queen?" The Queen stood up "You are a Fairy correct?' The girl whimpered "Yes." The Queen smiled "I have a new place for you since you had.. trouble with the cooks." The girl looked up "I want you to take care of Prince Rowan for today as I need Agatha by myside." The girl nodded as I handed her the Prince; the Queen chuckled "Nina.. if you mess up this time I will remove your wings.. Prince Rowan better be as peaceful as he is now when I am done with Agatha." The girl nodded as she left the room I could hear her whimper. The Queen sighed "Agatha what did you do before you came here?" I was so confused "Ugh.. I guard.. Gardened I tended to my mothers garden to bring home wages." The Queen smiled "Good I need your help." I was scared "I need to find out why my husband want to make peace with those creatures." I spoke up "My Queen the knights found the witch last week; she had a still born child and it did not survive past the first few moments of life." The Queen glared at me "My husband is hiding something.. I need information and since you work with those creatures who can I get that info from?" my mouth turned dry "I heard one of the builders talking about an old wizard in Oshay a village fifty miles north." the Queen nodded "Will he help me?" I tried not to laugh 'Of course he loves royals." The Queen smiled "Agatha you have always helped me.. tell Sir Benjamin I need my horse Pearl as I want to take a ride around the Kingdom." I gulped "My Queen it would be dangerous to go alone." The Queen scoffed "I am having one of the knights come with me one I can trust.. Sir Daniel shall escort me." I shook as he was the one who enforced the enslavement of the Faye. "Leave me now and tell that girl that she will be feed tonight for her deed." I shook harder "Yes my Queen." I ran off as the Queen called out "Giselle! Jane!" the two girls to help her get ready one an elf had her ears clipped and the Other a fawn had her hooves in shackles "You two make me look like one of you now!" I scurried into the Princes room down the stairwell and locked myself in his bedroom with the young fairy. The Fairy had put the Prince to sleep as she was trying to rub her ankle in the rocking chair. "The Queen said you will be feed tonight." The girl smiled I saw the had punched her so hard one of her canines was gone "Thank you for the chance.. I can help take care of him if you need me too." I sighed "Listen.. I need you to do something important." The girl looked at me "Yes Lady Agatha?" I shushed her "My name is Dolores of the Elfin guard... I need you to go to Oshay and tell Rockroses daughter the Queen is coming and not to let her father around her." The girl smiled "I knew it was you!" I waved at her "I can not leave as the Queen calls upon me to much.. You need to go as soon as possible do you have enough strength to camoflauge yourself?' The girl nodded "Good.. what is your name?" I unchained her feet as I had made a skeleton key with the help of the blacksmith and the captain of the guard as they were brothers and both half Faye I believed they were half lycan as they never were seen on the full moon. "My name is Nina." I sighed "Your real name." The girl shook "My name was Grace." I smiled "Grace by the power in me I trust in you to help the Elfin guard and The Realm." Grace shook her feet and spread her wings she was so young maybe thirteen as she only had her two birth colors meaning she had not been put into a trade yet. Her wings were naturally Pink and silver she wrapped them together and vanished before me I smiled as I knew the Wizard now was no threat to us. I hoped Abigale could control him if not it would be war.
