The writer and the poser

The writer :
Sees the world in a unique way it flows to them.
They are cursed and gifted with a mind full of imagination.
They write for the pleasure and release from the toxic world around them.
They see people as unique individuals, who influence them.
They are usually unnoticed but the loudest in their mind.

The Power:
They see writing not as a way of life but to feed the bloated media.
They steal from the writers for they do not have the passion to write even a letter.
The poser makes them selves noticed.
They are the loudest but have no thoughts of their own.

The writer sees the power and vise versa
The poser has money to spare while the writer spent their last few dollars for a new note book.
These two are forever entwined
Yet it is up to the reader
To decide
To follow the love and true enchanted way of a writer
Or the mask of a generic poser.

Wow. This is intense. Just one tip real quick: I think that "poser" may have autocorrected to "power" a few times throughout the poem, which is a bit confusing. You might want to go back and fix those! :) The ideas in this poem are expressed quite vehemently, making it interesting to read. I really like the stanza describing the writer, as it does so in a unique and, at the same time relatable, way. The fact that the writer and the poser "are forever intertwined" is also interesting, and somewhat frightening. It seems as if there is a lot of intense emotion behind this piece. Nice work!

love the contrasts you bring up...what comes from the heart as opposed to what comes looking for the pocket book.
in second stanza, should it be "The Poser" in the first line?

i read it as so.

but the parallels done so well...

there is writing because we have to, it is innate...or there is writing because of how we can use it to our advantage...

Umhhhhhhhhhhhhhhnh...

I don't really agree with this.
Far too inclusive.
I don't think all of the silent, unnoticed types necesserily have more imagination then people who are louder and 'Posers'. And just because someone is outspoken does not mean he had copied all of his ideas or anything of that sort.

You obviously feel strongly about this topic,
But I've met some very creative people who were sometimes shy and confined and sometimes very loud and audible. Yet it didn't change anything.

But that's just my opinion!

my dear what I meant by this the writer does not care if he or she goes unnoticed and most writers I have personally met do see the world different I did not mean to sterotype of a writer as quiet some are indeed loud and very creative yet to make this my point I wanted to use a quiet elegant writer stand point to show that those of us who write as our hobbie or to let go truly see the world different and that the loud "Poser" is like the kid who copies the smart kids homework no true passion they just want the glory I understand the misconception and value your comment

Maybe you would like other writings my poems are very deep and I have only wrote two on here since I been back and anytime I do not lash out at my fellow writers
