Maybe Tomorrow

Maybe Tomorrow

A Poem by Palmerd3
"

A love sonnet. What more need I say?

"

Your eyes shine brighter than my bedside light

Your hair is long and dark and feels like flour

Your smile is always there and looks so bright

Your skin is soft and warm just like a shower.

I love the way you drink out of a glass

I love the way you look at math and glare

I love the way you daydream during class

I love the way you listen like you care.

I hate the men you hang out with instead

I hate it that my voice cannot break through

I hate the way you get inside my head

I hate it when I don’t have thoughts of you.

To share my feelings now would end my sorrow

But I’ll just wait until tomorrow.
