Soon

Inspired by the poem "Dreams" by Mary Oliver. We all like to dream. Dreams bring us hope for better things to come as we wake up every morning.

Soon, the snow on your bare branches
will melt down and flow
As the sun stretches his fiery arms to glow
Soon fresh crispy green leaves
will shine like jewels on your shoulders
Soon a bunch of light pink and fluffy white flowers
will smile from the edge of your branches
and squirrels will dance from your bark to your roots.

This sounds like a promise of something new...like telling someone to hold onto his hope for something better.....I love the imagery especially those squirrels! :)))
