Timeless time

Timeless time

A Poem by Surabhi Kaushik
"

“Time flies over us but leaves its shadow behind” – Nathaniel Hathrowne

Will not stand by and wait for you
not restless, not patient, not vibrant
comes unwelcomed, leaves unannounced
once lost, never to be found again…

Great way to describe time. It is ever-present. But we humans have measured it to the micro-second; which I feel have only added to our peril as no other species in nature is keeping a track of time.
is time a blessing or a frankenstein? Only time will tell. :P

It is short, accurate and elegant.
Makes us more aware of the moments that pass... Which reminds me.... :P
