Stardust SunshineA Poem by Kayla KStardust = Dreamers. Sunshine = Hope. Stardust Sunshine = Hope for the dreamers themselves."A philosopher once asked, "Are we human because we gaze at the stars or do we gaze at the stars because we are human?" Pointless really. Do the stars gaze back? Now that's a question." ~ Stardust
"It is never easy to keep reaching for dreams. Strength and courage can sometimes be lonely friends, but those who reach, walk in stardust." ~ Unknown "Light gives of itself freely, filling all available space. It does not seek anything in return; it asks not whether you are friend or foe. It gives of itself and is not thereby diminished." ~Michael Strassfeld "Once you choose hope, anything is possible." ~ Christopher Reeve "So many of our dreams at first seem impossible, then seem improbably, and then, when we summon the will, they soon seem inevitable." ~ Christopher Reeve ~*~ Stardust sunshine, misplaced and used. Thrown aside, beaten, abused. Mischievous little butterfly, you'd spread your wings if only, but they've pulled you down, leaving you crushed and lonely. Silhouetting drumbeats, dancing ballet shoes. Dead end roads, no matter which path you decide to choose. Lightning thunder, wilted rose. Deadened leaves, that winter froze. Rainbow tornado, cyclone snow. Blizzard wind, hurricane shadow. Acoustic strings, enchanting words. Solar eclipse, chattering birds. Candyland adventures, grand piano keys. Oceanic seashells, waterside breeze. Galaxy wonders, wandering feet. Throughout this life, who will you meet? Falling forward, rock bottom below. Falling faster, unable to slow. Mischievous little butterfly, with wings of rainbow color, eyes of stardust wonder, and sunshine golden hopes. you'll make it through the thunder. Mischievous little butterfly, send your dreams to the sky. And if ever you're pulled back down, find hope and again try. © 2011 Kayla K |
