Glitter SwirlsA Poem by Kayla KGlitter swirls,
rainbow twirls, luminous pearls, ballet whirls. Paint me a picture, one to decipher. Bleed out a dream, no matter how ugly, that it may seem. Colorful crayons, magic markers. Every line created so brightly glitters. Sing me a song, to scream out your heart. So powerful that it tears the world apart. Emotions flowing, in melodic tunes. Voice floating gone, upon air balloons. Write me a story, to tell me of you. I want to know, what you have gone through. Bleeding through a pen, in rainbow infused ink. Emotions spread on paper, in only a blink. Dance me a performance, majestic in silence Even if you fall down once, there will be no absence. You'll stand back up, in ballet slippers. Finish the dance, with courage sparkles. Show me your pain, with crystal tears. I'll try to help, chase away fears. Show me your scars, all across your wrists. I know inside you, deep fear exists. Show me the bruises, from where you were hit. These past few years, the path was unlit. Show me your smile, the one that you fake. Tell me about, all the times that you ache. Reach out for my hand, so I can help you escape. And someday I promise, you'll again be awake. Glitter swirls, rainbow twirls, luminous pearls, ballet whirls. © 2011 Kayla KReviews
