GreedA Poem by SunyaSometimes just a touch is enough...touch of love and kindness
No these hands are not for taking,
Even if the lowliest of fruits are shouting, It wont fall for any sort of greed, No these hands are not for grasping. These hands are for giving, But just a slight hint from you oh beloved, These hands can be shoulders, Even if it takes, it is a giving, These hands are empty, No these hands are no more clever, But they are sensitive, just a slight burden on your chest of the lover, and these hands are shoulders, no these hands are not for taking, even if the lowliest of fruits are hanging, on the trees of greed and lust, they are too far and unnecessary, These hands are clean, not even a single mischief, Even if the leaves have fallen, these hands are not for crushing, no these hands are not for stealing, even if the butterfly has lost its way, these hands are not for grasping, no these hands have no virtue, but they are too sensitive, not even a thousand of wounds shall stop, from sweeping the tears of the loving, just a slight pain in the lovers heart, and these hands are shoulders, and one little smile on the eyes of the lover, and these hands are meant for dancing, no these hands are not for taking, not even a single mischief, these hands are for giving, all giving, no these hands are not intelligent, but they are too sensitive.... © 2014 Sunya |
