Search for Him

Search for Him

A Poem by Sunya
"

During my search for the divine

"
Lost in the dark dense forest,
carrying a torn heart upon my chest,
I cried your name in disbelief,
That all my efforts became a waste,
Then just a slight murmur of the leaves,
put all my anxieties to rest,

In the loneliest of nights,
Your absence was enough,
In the midst of so many thunders,
your silence was enough,,,,

walking the hills upto the peak,
and rolling down back in defeat,
I cried your name in anguish,
As I lost hope everytime I slipped,
The just a slight vision of the sun,
Helped me stand up back on my feet,

In the strangest of deserts,
your absense was enough,
In the busiest of rumours,
Your silence was enough,,,,

I packed my carrybag to start the journey again,
To start the journey again,
Your name was enough.....

This is a deep and thought-provoking piece.. the repetition really worked in this one to strengthen the point and make the punch more powerful.. vivid imagery, and moving.. well done...
