Virus

Virus

A Poem by Ignorance Was Bliss Everything Was Free

Condemned to this silence,
I dont want this alias.
I am attempting to feed,
You've become my Virus.

I sink my teeth,
into your rotten flesh.
I hate the sour taste,
I must confess.

Maybe I need a head doctor,
To tell me I'm insane.
I'm turning to canabalism,
To ease this dire pain.

I walk away from your body,
Now lifeless but twitching.
Your eyes are in the back of your head.
And your fists no longer clentching.

I've become among,
The living dead.
I've no longer the need,
To remember what you've said.

I've become careless
And Unaware,
Of the pain,
I once was left to bare.

I walk with this silence,
Again in my presence.
This time I dont notice,
Because of my negligence.

All the emotion is gone,
My thought process blank.
Now I carry you're Virus,
It was my foretold fate.
