He SaysA Poem by Ignorance Was Bliss Everything Was FreeI'm staring in the mirror I just don't get it. I turn to walk I way still in distraught. I take the razor blade from the dresser. It doesn't hurt as bad as the last time.
I've gotten used to the feeling. The blood isn't warm anymore. I just don't understand. What makes him say that, I don't see it in me.
You can't love me, I can't love you. He pulls the curtains shut again. I forgot to this morning. He whispers the same words into my ear.
Still I don't understand what he see's in me. I'm empty, I have nothing to give and don't take whats offered. My clothes aren't even casual, I don't take the time to make myself pretty.
He say's to me again, You're Beautiful.
