Ghosts

Ghosts

A Poem by Sunshine Kid

She haunts him
He haunts her
Each other’s omnipresence
Constantly there
Watching
Waiting
Loving
Haunting
(But with a
Positive
Connotation)
Haunting
Haunting
Watching
She doesn’t cry out
Often
But when
She does
It’s painful
For me to
Hear
To understand
Sick of not
Understanding
She is sick
Of not knowing
Of not being
But I trust her
Yes
I always trust her
