Peace to Fela

Peace to Fela

A Poem by Sunshine Jackson

i got a brain in my cranium

i got 2 eyes and with them, things i see em

i got a bag full of books and bags

newspapers, full of comic books and ads

rad-ical mad outlandish

yo take a bite of this; that's a pretty good sandwich

tomatos, peppers lettuce from a head

bread; mustard squirts from inside my head

dead i am not cuz alive is what i am

kickin lots of chicken to the woman and the man

and the gods and the earths and the animals and plants

herbal botanical s**t is what you can't advance

plans to do this would be fatal and in fact

if you ever lose reciet then you can never take it back

or frunt, the sides are on a slope and i cope

cuz im dope like soap on a rope
