The Keyboard and Me

Today I am just venting I was working on what I believed to me a Masterpiece of all my writings and just with one click it was gone everything oh the deep war that happens sometimes with just The Keyboard and Me

I do not understand how it all just went away

where did it go is it possible to retrieve

Oh noooo

It was so good

so full of light beauty wonder and truth

I guess it really is important to start out on paper my whole life is ruined

Oh well

I'll just have to start over it seems

I just hope that it's as good as my other 1 if not better

one can only hope

But for now I am just going to step away from the computer I have spent hours in my writing

it was a very long time pouring my heart out on these keys this evening

only to have it all taken from me

Oh cruel typer thief

not even a rough draft you leave me

Another day another headache  taking place it seems

Oh the troubles dear keyboard you bring

And to think I wanted to invest in a touch screen laptop too

I'm going back to paper

I write on paper first, I have hundreds of poems on line but all I have copies of here in a safe [lace. Valentine

Aw, technology can be such a b***h at times. Reminds me of the time I thought it was safe to save everything on my laptop and threw out all my paper copies in a tidying frenzy, only to spill soda on my laptop and watch it fizzle and die, taking all my work with it. I don't know if I was more angry at myself or Bill Gates and his evil empire that fooled me into thinking the pen was redundant.
I feel your pain. You're doing the right thing, walking away from the screen, taking time out. If it is meant to be, it will come back to you. Fingers and toes crossed for you.
