Let Summer lastA Poem by DreamerWinter was cold And came in the mids of sunshine. Caught us with our pants down- Bathing in a stream of bliss It hardened so quick
Winter was cold Turned my open field, with red roses Barren and white. Washing the blue from the sky, Onto us.
It was the coldest days Could die if you're not protected. I was alone No heat Stood there naked
Winter was cold, Until in the middle of falling snow, Sunlight came. We survived this time. Never will I remove these snow boots again- Always looking to the sky expecting it to snow any moment.
Its still Summer in our world. The air is fresh, Life is brewing. Undescribable feeling, emotional healing. Sometimes- I think I see the brownish hue, It worries me, About the leaves- But its still summer- at least thats what I'd like to believe
