The Moon

The Moon

A Poem by Sunrising

The moon shines upon me,
the face of my beloved.
O night of joy!

Joy permeates all things.
My life: joy,
my youth: fulfillment.

Today my house is again
home,
today my body is
my body.
The god
of destiny smiled on me.
No more doubt.

I like the fact that this poem isn't really easy to understand, any one can take it to their own paths and ways.
I loved the using of destiny.
Well Done!!

Interesting work, Jay.

A poem full of hope and contentment. Using the moon as a metaphor for the smiling face of one's love is an interesting choice. This smiling face has filled the writer's life with joy and happiness and has erased all the doubts and concerns in his life. One becomes whole again. One's home feels like a real home again. Contentment personified.
Very nice work, Jay. Getting better with every poem you publish.
