![]() BoyProofA Poem by Sunny![]() regrets of a girl who fell for a guy![]() 9/08 Today I put on make-up, I straightened my hair, And brushed it 100 times- Just like people are always telling me to. My outfit matches I’m wearing good shoes My nails are pink, not black. It’s an odd feeling. I don’t know if I like it. It’s different. And what makes you think This is all for you? Am I being too obvious? I hate the way my Gut wrenches When I see you. It’s not fair of you to do this to me! It’s not fair that every smile Can give me chills That every touch Makes me blush. Put me back the way I was! Before you bought me ice cream Before we saw that movie I don’t remember Before I changed myself for you. Give me My ripped jeans Baggy sweatshirt Greasy ball cap Muddy shoes, And I’ll be on my way. Back to the way I was Before any of this happened. Back to when I was Untouchable Unbeatable Intimidating Fearless Tough. Back then I didn’t have to worry About boys like you. Because back then I was Boyproof. And I liked it that way. © 2010 SunnyAuthor's Note
