I am angry because I can't win

against a man who has quit the race

And it seems my race puts me at a

constant disadvantage

 

I am angry because you looked me

straight in the eye and told me

I was nothing

 

I am angry because no matter what

I say or do I can't get through to you

That I could never love

another soul

as cold as yours and

I am angry because the one I love

can't see that

the only one in

love with him is me

 

I am angry because all the times

I cried rivers

of blue

mean nothing to you

 

I am angry because I can't

speak my mind

for fear of your death

 

The last breathe of a man

to bruised to understand

that the pain he feels inside

is the pain I have to hide

from his unforgiving heart

that will never seem to part

from a love he won't let go

that walked out so long ago

and could not exist today

he will not hear me when I say that

As you can probably see, I am angry. This was written in angry so there may not be much flow, or coherent thought. Despite that fact, enjoy my rage.

Anger when used correctly can be an effective tool in creativity. I think the anger in the beginning didn't have a smooth flow but what anger does, however when you vented and released control of your anger it flowed like a song. I think this is perfect as is. Nice, anger flowing stream of poetic thought. Great job.
