With my big, bright eyes and modest sense
My punk rock friends say I make bad music Well, they've all got their own opinions and that's fine With my stained up shirt and my coffee breath My acquaintances all like my music But I don't like them at all and that's fine Living here, living there It's all the same as everywhere else I'm the one that doesn't make the change With a big black bad and dirty shoes Take me away from everything you do When you look into the mirror, well, what the hell do you see The whole world coming for you? Empty the ashtrays and roll a cigarette Feel the power in my step, never gonna quit Try to take me down and I'll grow another inch I have nothing to regret, nothing to forget I want nothing to perfect but I have everything to finish Roll another cigarette and watch the paper burn Is the whole world coming for you? Asperger's, depression and ADD Big business bullshit, the caffeine parade Economic flux sitting in the shade Dull eyes downturned, modesty revoked Too many drugs to counter-act this hope Never have I felt so suppressed to sing Play two songs before I break another string Empty the ashtrays and roll a cigarette Feel the power in my step, never gonna quit Try to take me down and I'll grow another inch I have nothing to regret, nothing to forget I want nothing to perfect but I have everything to finish Roll another cigarette and feel the wonted burn Pass the cigarette and take another turn Let the whole world come for you Let the whole world come for you Let the whole world comfort you! © 2014 Jimmy DeadmanAuthor's Note
