Just Jesus and Me

          A MOMENT OF PRAYER

I just need a moment

To be by myself ,

So I can start my day right

By Praying to the Almighty

Thanking Him for all that I have,

For knowing before hand what I regret.

I just need a moment to be by myself,

To ask Him to forgive my wrongs

And to set them right without a fight.

I just need that moment of solitude to be still,

To know He is there as I kneel and pray.

-that He'll hold me when I stumble,

Steady me when I falter,

Every-day chores, the trials and woes of feelings that are untold,

 And help me when I have so much to do.

I just need a moment to be by myself,

So, I can be just Me. 

Me, without a mask that I wear for everyone to see!

I just need that little time with Jesus when I can just be Me.
