Venom

Venom

                          Venom
Why do people use vast vocabulary?
To elaborately express their thoughts in words?
To say the things they find so hard to express;
Why say things which mean so little or none.
People use words without knowing their strength;
Some to heal, some to hurt, some to gnaw at the hidden wounds!
Words that cut one through  and through,
Separating the body and the soul in two!
People need words to expose the hatred which they conceal behind a smile.
Their eyes icy-cold and lips so warm with delight!
Why cant people be just plain straight?
Being thoughtful, honest and brave!
How people use wily words,
To deceive the one who's always true.
Words! Words! Oh flowery words!
How venomous yet how true!

I like this theres alot of people i know who try to show off their vocabulary thinking it makes things sound morw complex or better but its really venom corrupting a simple thought...and we often use words before thinkong of the power they have...all in all a good piece very relatable
