DialecticsA Poem by Sunil SharmaHope/despair binary; change/stasisDialectics Out of the
lengthening shadows, Hugging a
bleak barren landscape, Will come
out a surging ocean of, All-pervading
light, Flooding all
the crevices and voids; Out of the
womb of inky darkness, Will emerge
brightness white, Despair will
not last forever, My mate, It is going
to be the gentle Harbinger of Pink-faced
hope! Rejoice! The end
leads to New
beginnings, It is all
circular; A fresh dawn
awaits Every gloomy
night! Every tragic waste yields, Fresh crop
of changes vital, A persistent
stasis, Collapses
suddenly, Revealing
newer horizons, And, Contours of Higher
evolution, Because, History
never is reversed but, Always moves
forwards, And, Hark! My mate! It teaches us, People-
power can not be Trampled for
long!
